Founded by award-winning New York–based designer Nathalie Mendez-Boyle, Creatively U is a design and spatial strategy studio focused on the built environment. Our work spans interiors, workplaces, and experiential spaces, helping organizations create environments that support human experience, flow, and long-term use—not just visual impact.

Rooted in both creative intuition and data-informed strategy, our approach bridges design intent with real-world outcomes. We collaborate with architecture and design teams to bring spatial narratives to life—integrating experience, movement, materiality, and purpose into spaces people actually inhabit.

Nathalie’s career sits at the intersection of design excellence, social impact, and cultural relevance. She has earned national recognition for showroom and interior environments and led the #1 art installation campaign in Kickstarter history. Her work is known for being bold, measurable, and deeply human—design that performs as well as it inspires.

Creatively U operates through a flexible, project-specific model. Each engagement is supported by a curated team of collaborators—strategists, technologists, artists, and architects—assembled to complement existing project teams and elevate the overall vision. We integrate seamlessly into larger design ecosystems, respecting process while pushing creative boundaries.

As an Afro-Latina designer, mother, wife, humanitarian and artist, Nathalie brings lived experience into the spaces she helps shape. Her work extends beyond aesthetics, using design as a tool to amplify underrepresented voices, foster belonging, and create environments that reflect the communities they serve.

Through community-driven initiatives such as Wounded Warrior Fundraisers, Inspire Disability, A Place to Call Home, and the Immersive Arts Space, Creatively U applies design thinking to storytelling, healing, and placemaking—demonstrating how thoughtful environments can create lasting social value.
